Troubleshooting Guide

eSIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.

  1. Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi and disable airplane mode before scanning the eSIM
  3. Confirm mobile data is sourced from our eSIM (i.e. the correct eSIM profile is selected)
  4. Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
  5. Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
  6. APN: plus | Username: [blank] | Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
  7. Turn off automatic network selection and manually choose from the list below.
  8. Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

Great eSIM
Easy to install and connect. I had to wait a few minutes for the eSIM to connect with the local provider initially but after that it has been working well. I only turn it on when needed and it’s been fine. Very happy 😊

Life saver
When I landed and enabled the esim, it didn't work but then I put the mobile in airplane mode again and disable airplane mode. Went into esim settings and enabled data roaming. It then started to work and helped me to communicate with my taxi driver at the arrival terminal. Highly recommend to get it loaded on your device before you start your travel. It won't affect the start date because sim will only become active in the region you bought it for. Happy with the purchase and in fact I bought another sim to cover my whole duration of the trip.
