Things to know
- Local Vodafone Spanish SIM Card (all text from the network will be in Spanish)
- Comes with a Spanish phone number (+34)
- Activation required – see important notes below
- No ID registration needed
- No SMS/text allowance (you can only receive SMS/text)
- Coverage on Vodafone Network (poor coverage in Cappadocia, Turkey)
- Compatible with unlocked mobile devices
- SIM will not work on Modem/Mifi/Pocket Wifi devices
- Dial *138# to get your mobile number (Spanish +34)
- Dial *565# then press 4 to check data or contact Vodafone Spain official WhatsApp number (+34 607100800)

Important Notes
- To ensure a smooth activation, your SIM will be activated one day prior to the activation date
- Unsure about activation dates? Enter an estimate. Once dates are confirmed, email us at support@travelkon.com.au or use live chat
- To get the full 28 days, set travel date as one day later. Note activation is between 08:00 AM and 21:00 PM local time.
- Keep the SIM tray; you’ll need the pin to access the SIM card and if you restart the phone.
- Do not activate the card yourself as it may interfere with the activation process, if data isn’t working contact us via live chat.
Troubleshooting Guide
SIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.
- Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
- Turn phone off, remove the SIM, insert the SIM back and turn phone on
- Confirm mobile data is sourced from our SIM (i.e. the correct SIM profile is selected)
- Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
- Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
- APN: airtelwap.es | Username / Password: (leave blank) (Android: select manually)
- Network operator should be set as automatic
- Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

Coverage depends on the countries visited
Coverage depends on the countries visited. I recently visited Poland, France and UK. Coverage was excellent in both France & Poland however I was having a lot of issues in the UK where I get 3G or E which I can’t use on my iPhone. I ended up purchasing a new ESIM from another company.
