- Purchase your eSIM plan, provide EID and IMEI2 numbers by dialling *#06#
- AT&T eSIM do not have QR code, eSIM will be push directly into your phone on your chosen activation date
- Go to Settings > Mobile > Add eSIM, the AT&T eSIM will appear
- Turn on data roaming (in Canada & Mexico) to use the eSIM
- For immediate use, allow up to 24 hours for activation

Important Notes
- eSIM activation will occur one day prior to the activation date specified between 9 AM and 5 PM New York time (GMT-5).
- *$84 plan includes a 30GB limit and $94 plan includes a 50GB limit in USA & MX (then slowed to 1.5Mbps), Canada has 25GB data limit.

- iPhone with eSIM functionality only (iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17). Android phone will not work.

Troubleshooting Guide
eSIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.
- Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
- Connect to Wi-Fi and go to Settings > Mobile > Add eSIM to add the AT&T eSIM.
- Confirm mobile data is sourced from our eSIM (i.e. the correct eSIM profile is selected)
- Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
- Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
- APN: NXTGENPHONE | Username: [blank] | Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
- Set the network operator to automatic. For Canada and Mexico, select manually, refer to the list below
- Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

I used your eSIM in a number of countries. Significant difficulties were in Iceland and Alaska where there’s always no signal. Also signals were bad in areas not too remote in USA.
Apart from that they are great.

Phone connection is good. But I can not use the vpn connection from laptop via the hotspot connection from my phone, which is the primary use case for me when I travel to US.

The USA eSIM worked out of the box
The USA eSIM worked immediately after activation upon arrival in the USA. The eSIM automatically linked to T-Mobile 5G data and was fast and reliable. On the odd occasion the signal would drop to LTE.

Easy set up before arrival into country. Sim was fully functional upon arrival. I was able to communicate with my family once I switched on my device.
