Thing’s to know
- Local Viettel eSIM for Vietnam provider (all text from the network will be in Vietnamese)
- Comes with a Vietnamese phone number (+84) – Note: the eSIM may not be able to receive OTP

Important Notes
- Viettel stock is subject to supplier availability. If Viettel is unavailable at redemption, we’ll provide an equivalent eSIM or issue a full refund.
- The QR code is valid for 15 days from the date of redemption, we recommend redeeming your code just before your departure..
- Adding the eSIM outside the coverage country may result in a “failed activation,” which is normal. The eSIM will activate once you reach your destination.

Troubleshooting Guide
eSIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.
- Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
- Connect to Wi-Fi and disable airplane mode before scanning the eSIM.
- Confirm mobile data is sourced from our eSIM (i.e. the correct eSIM profile is selected)
- Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
- APN: v-internet | Username: vertigo | Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
- Set the network operator to automatic
- Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

I highly recommend purchasing an eSIM when traveling overseas. It made our trip so much easier since we didn’t have to search for free Wi-Fi wherever we went. We were able to stay in constant contact with each other and our driver, and having reliable internet access for maps and exploring nearby attractions made everything completely stress-free. The setup process was simple, the connection was reliable, and the cost was very affordable — definitely a worthwhile investment for any traveler.

Great coverage in Vietnam & Cambodia. Never had a problem. Price was very reasonable. A bit tricky (probably my fault) to get it up and running. Contacted Travelkon and had immediate support. Will definitely buy again when going overseas.
