Important Notes

eSIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.

Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
Connect to Wi-Fi and disable airplane mode before scanning the eSIM
Confirm mobile data is sourced from our eSIM (i.e. the correct eSIM profile is selected)
Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
APN: mobile.three.com.hk | Username: [blank] Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
Turn off automatic network selection and manually choose from the list below.
Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

This was my third time purchasing an eSim plan from TravelKon. This time I purchased an eSim for my travels to Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou in China. It was easy to set up and I had no issues with speed and coverage.

I used TravelKon's global mobile internet plan during my recent trip to China. I didn’t realise just how many of the apps and websites I rely on every day—like gmail, youtube, whatsapp, Facebook, and even news.com.au and other news sites—are blocked there. Surprisingly, with this mobile internet, everything worked just like it does at home. I’m not sure if it uses a VPN or something else behind the scenes, but it worked consistently. As soon as I switched to local wi-fi by mistake, everything would stop working.

I’ve got eSIM 10 GB for my China trip. It worked perfectly well for past 10 days until this morning. Suddenly no internet connection at all. I tried to reboot the phone many times, yet not helping.
