Important Notes

TikTok and ChatGPT will NOT work
Adding the eSIM outside the coverage country may result in a “failed activation,” which is normal. The eSIM will activate once you reach your destination.
Turn off the eSIM line and do not turn on data roaming until you reach your destination.
Activation required in HK & Taiwan, you will receive a text message with the KYC link upon arrival, click the link and follow the prompt – passport upload is required

Troubleshooting Guide

eSIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running.

Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
Connect to Wi-Fi and disable airplane mode before scanning the eSIM.
Confirm mobile data is sourced from our eSIM (i.e. the correct eSIM profile is selected)
Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
APN: mobile.three.com.hk | Username: [blank] | Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
Network operator should be set as automatic, if not working try selecting each available network manually
Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

My go to place for overseas eSim

I am up to about 15 Sim cards & eSims from Travelkon. Not one issue yet. The customer service is outstanding as are the products.

Easy to install and works well in China

Worked great in HK once I got it working and internet was fast. However the pdf guide provided in the email was insufficient, had to refer to the troubleshooting guide on travelkon's website to diagnose the issue which was selecting the correct Network Operator manually instead of automatically.

eSIM arrived pretty much instantly, there were notes/instructions/reminders with what you need to look out for with the eSIM, and support was quick to respond (and with detailed information) when I had questions on how to setup the eSIM. But most importantly, it works as advertised and I didn't have any issues with with. One happy (returning) customer, and will be back again when I need it for my next overseas trip :)

Great price, Easy to use and no reception issues! Why would you pay money to your normal telco to go on a roaming pack when these are cheaper, more value, and give you so much more data. Don’t get tricked by the roaming add-ons the telco offers because these eSIMS are so easy to use and plug in and work straight away. I will keep on coming back to use these.
