Important Notes – activation procedure:
- Scan the QR code on the SIM card or by visiting this link
- Choose English from the language selector in the top right corner
- Click “Register Now”
- Select “Individual User”
- If you scanned the QR code on the SIM card, the ICCID will be automatically pre-filled
- It will also be pre-filled if you insert the SIM card, turn on mobile data, and turn off Wi-Fi
- Select Passport > International Passport and then confirm
- Follow the prompts and clearly photograph your passport
- Note: Insert the SIM card only when are in Hong Kong and register using the Airport/Hotel Wi-Fi – registration outside Hong Kong will not work.
Troubleshooting Guide
SIM not working after registration? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running
- Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
- Turn phone off, remove the SIM, insert the SIM back and turn phone on
- Confirm mobile data is sourced from our SIM (i.e. the correct SIM profile is selected)
- Set APN and network operator as automatic, adjust only if not working
6.1 APN: “cmhk” | Username: [blank] | Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
- Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

Easy process. Excellent service. Got the sim card in time before departure.
I recently bought Travelkon 100G + 200mins SIM Card for a trip to Hong Kong. Mobile service was good, plenty of data, the initial register process was a bit fiddly but once registered, I did not find any issue with this SIM card.
Would be great if there is a way to check data and call usage. Highly recommend and definitely would buy again for my next trip.
