Thing’s to know

- Plan usually “start” when the eSIM connects to the supported network (i.e. you can add the eSIM into your phone in Australia without “starting” the plan)
- Note: you must not turn on data roaming and please turn off the eSIM line after installation, we will not be responsible if the plan started accidentally
- eSIM must connect to a supported network and be used within 90 days of purchase to avoid expiration
- Please ensure you check the network operator coverage in your intended travel areas, we are not responsible for lack of coverage and do not provide refunds in such cases

Troubleshooting Guide
The eSIM will usually only activate when it connects to a supported network operator. For example, you can scan the eSIM in Australia without activating it. However, please ensure that you do not turn on data roaming and please turn off the eSIM line until you reach your destination.
Our eSIM generally works with no issues, however if you encounter any issues with the eSIM, please check the following:
- You must be connected to Wi-Fi when scanning the eSIM
- Turn off any other SIM and any VPN (if applicable), your phone also must also not be on airplane mode
- Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
- Ensure mobile data is sourced from our SIM and wait at least 10 minutes for activation – refrain from changing any mobile settingsÂ
- APN should be “plus” (if it is not mobile please wait or restart the phone, do not change manually)
- Network operator should be automatically selected but if it isn’t please select manually to Chunghwa TelecomÂ
- Restart your phone (off / on) or turn airplane mode on / off
- If you experience drop outs please turn on / off the eSIM line
- Please check your mobile network settings to make sure the eSIM was installed (occasionally it may looked like the eSIM did not install successfully however it may already be installed on your phone)
- Please do not delete the eSIM, if you accidentally deleted the SIM it may take up to 24 hours for us to reset the eSIM.
eSIM QR code along with the instruction will be sent via email instantly (please check your junk/spam email). Please note if you purchase a physical SIM in the same order, the eSIM will need to be sent manually (i.e. NOT instant), we recommend buying the eSIM separately.

Instructions were easy to follow and didn’t have any issues with coverage. It can get slow if you go past 1gb, but that only happened once when I heavily used my phone for watching YouTube. It was perfect for all other days where I was just using maps and checking social media.
Had to turn off Google Maps ‘always on’ and reduce my internet browsing after it burned through my 1GB in my first day – but once I worked it out, the eSIM was much easier to carry and recharge just my phone rather than a additional second device pocket wifi and spare battery for that. With wifi where I was staying, this worked out fine.
