Haven't actually used the esims yet, pre purchased to have ready for trip. The ordering and payment process was easy, will review after trip usage. Hopefully all will go easily as haven't used esim process before.

Fabulous, worked everywhere I went, which was Tokyo, Lake Yamanaka, Hakone area 5 golf courses around Mt Fuji. I installed it at home when in great wifi before travelling. As soon as I landed it just started when I made it my primary number. I will use Travelkon again.

I’ve used roaming travel sim from foreign networks before. The major issue is that it seems like Japan Network has QoS prioritised which I sometimes had a lag feeling or unresponsive traffic with it. However, this KDDI local sim is the best, it is true unlimited without speed cap and QoS limitations which ensure that you will have internet wherever you need without any interruptions. This local KDDI sim is even cheaper than many roaming travel sim too. The best and the most recommended!

Easy to install and connect. I had to wait a few minutes for the eSIM to connect with the local provider initially but after that it has been working well. I only turn it on when needed and it’s been fine. Very happy 😊
We got two of these eSims for our trip to Singapore and Japan. One in a Samsung phone and one in a Xiaomi phone. Installed and activated them before we left and they worked instantly when we landed. Got 5G most of the time, 4G+ in some areas. Always had a good fast connection. Very happy. On a previous trip to Japan I got the Japan eSim but with the great result from the Asia eSim I will get this again.
