Coverage, Speed, Hotspot, and Fair-Use Limits
Ubigi eSIM coverage and TravelKon coverage rely on local partners. The operator on the chosen plan matters at street level.
TravelKon connects through KDDI, while Ubigi operates across both KDDI and NTT Docomo in Japan. In the US, TravelKon operates on Verizon, while Ubigi connects through both T-Mobile and Verizon. Terrain, buildings and congestion affect either service. A 5G label means availability under suitable conditions, not continuous 5G.
Hotspot Access Is Not the Same as Unlimited High-Speed Data
