Important Notes
- TikTok (iPhone only) & ChatGPT will work by changing APN to “esimnext” this changes the IP to Singapore (Note for Android users: TikTok will NOT work)
- Insert the SIM card upon arrival at your destination to avoid accidental activation outside coverage countries
- SIM will not work on Modem/Mifi/Pocket Wifi device
- Coverage issues are outside our control and we do not offer refunds
Troubleshooting Guide
SIM not working? Don’t stress! Follow this guide to get you up and running
- Disable VPN and any secondary SIM/eSIM lines (for dual SIM phones)
- Turn phone off, remove the SIM, insert the SIM back and turn phone on
- Confirm mobile data is sourced from our SIM (i.e. the correct SIM profile is selected)
- Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
- Wait up to 10 minutes for activation to occur
- APN: mobile.three.com.hk | Username: [blank] Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
- APN to access TikTok (iPhone only) and ChatGPT: esimnext | Username: [blank] Password: [blank] (Android: select manually)
- Turn off automatic network selection and manually choose from the list below.
- Restart your phone and/or turn on and off airplane mode

Easy to activate and no issues with access whilst travelling around Taiwan

Setting up and activating the CMHK eSIM was straightforward and hassle-free. It connects to the China Mobile network in China. Initially, I encountered some sluggish connections on both iPhone and Android devices in certain areas, but disabling 5G resolved the issue. 4G speed proved to be more than sufficient.
For an 18-day trip with typical usage (excluding YouTube), 10GB of data is recommended.

As simple and sweet as it gets!!
From the website design to the easy instructions and having all the information laid out. Getting the sim from TavelKon for China was so so easy and smooth. The reception was great and everything worked so well. I hope you guys are able to keep this service up and also at such a reasonable price. I would only recommend that there be some notification system to let the user know that they’re running low on data and need to recharge or purchase a new sim. Otherwise it was a perfect experience!!
