Thing’s to know

  • Simply scan of the QR code to add the eSIM to your phone (Please DO NOT delete the eSIM as we may not be able to recover the QR code)
  • No calls or texts included (data-only eSIM)
  • No ID registration needed
  • The eSIM’s provider is 3HK (Note: TikTok App will NOT work)
  • Compatible with unlocked eSIM-compatible mobile phones only – See the table below
  • eSIM plan will activate when you scan the QR code – please DO NOT scan the QR code if you do not want to activate the plan – no refunds will be provided once you scan the QR code
  • eSIM must be used within 180 days of purchase to avoid expiration
  • Please make your purchase carefully as no refunds will be provided once the eSIM is sent
  • Please ensure you check the network operator coverage in your intended travel areas, we are not responsible for lack of coverage and do not provide refunds in such cases
  • Please check your usage using your mobile phone settings

Troubleshooting Guide

Our eSIM generally works with no issues, however if you encounter any issues with the eSIM, please check the following:

  1. You must be connected to Wi-Fi when scanning the eSIM
  2. Turn off any other SIM and any VPN (if applicable), your phone also must also not be on airplane mode
  3. Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
  4. Ensure mobile data is sourced from our SIM and wait at least 10 minutes for activation – refrain from changing any mobile settings
  5. APN should be “mobile.three.com.hk” (if it is not automatic
  6. Network operator should be automatically selected but if it isn’t please select manually to KT Network
  7. Restart your phone (off / on) or turn airplane mode on / of
  8. If you experience drop outs please turn on / off the eSIM line
  9. Please check your mobile network settings to make sure the eSIM was installed (occasionally it may looked like the eSIM did not install successfully however it may already be installed on your phone
  10. Please do not delete the eSIM, if you accidentally deleted the SIM there will be a $10 AUD charge imposed by the operator to reset the QR code and may take up to 24 hours.

eSIM QR code along with the instruction will be sent via email instantly (please check your junk/spam email). Please note if you purchase a physical SIM in the same order, the eSIM will need to be sent manually (i.e. NOT instant), we recommend buying the eSIM separately.

    Pretty easy to set up. TravelKon was super responsive with the initial setup via Whatsapp too, and was able to smooth out problems. Just be aware it is as described re: the Hong Kong provider!NO Tiktok access.
