Thing’s to know

- Plan usually “start” when the eSIM connects to the supported network (i.e. you can add the eSIM into your phone in Australia without “starting” the plan)
- Note: you must not turn on data roaming and please turn off the eSIM line after installation, we will not be responsible if the plan started accidentally
- eSIM must connect to a supported network and be used within 180 days of purchase to avoid expiration

Troubleshooting Guide
The eSIM will usually only activate when it connects to a supported network operator. For example, you can scan the eSIM in Australia without activating it. However, please ensure that you do not turn on data roaming and please turn off the eSIM line until you reach your destination.
Our eSIM generally works with no issues, however if you encounter any issues with the eSIM, please check the following:
- You must be connected to Wi-Fi when scanning the eSIM
- Turn off any other SIM and any VPN (if applicable), your phone also must also not be on airplane mode
- Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
- Ensure mobile data is sourced from our SIM and wait at least 10 minutes for activation – refrain from changing any mobile settings
- APN should be “ctm-mobile” (if it is not internet please wait or restart the phone, do not change manually)
- Network operator should be automatically selected but if it isn’t please select manually to network operators listed below
- Restart your phone (off / on) or turn airplane mode on / off
- If you experience drop outs please turn on / off the eSIM line and you may also want to try selecting a different operator manually where applicable (see the list below)
- Please check your mobile network settings to make sure the eSIM was installed (occasionally it may looked like the eSIM did not install successfully however it may already be installed on your phone)
- Please do not delete the eSIM, if you accidentally deleted the SIM it may take up to 24 hours for us to reset the eSIM.
eSIM QR code along with the instruction will be sent via email instantly (please check your junk/spam email). Please note if you purchase a physical SIM in the same order, the eSIM will need to be sent manually (i.e. NOT instant), we recommend buying the eSIM separately.

Internet access was poor in some areas outside of main cities. Also experience difficulties sharing hotspot connection with my spouse.
Instructions clear, very convenient to turn on once landed no mucking around trying to purchase a local sim on arrival. Only issue was that I couldn’t get any 5G coverage at all in Singapore with my Google Pixel 4a 5G (Australian model)
I heard good review from a relative during his recent overseas trip, so had him buy the TravelKon eSIM for me. Had trouble activating the eSIM in the 2 countries the eSIM was intended for use. I couldn’t turn on the “Travel Line”. When checking the Service Provider under General Settings, the ICCID No. was also different from the number that showed up on the scan when a relative was helping to pre-activate the eSIM the day before my departure for the overseas trip. Ended up not using the eSIM during the whole trip of 16 days. Rather disappointed.
Worked great in Korea until the last day where the internet was extremely slow
