  • Simple plug & play activation (once activated)
  • Our Indonesian local partner may activate the SIM D-1 (i.e. one day before your arrival date) to ensure smooth activation, in that case you may only have 29 days of service.
  • No Voice or SMS/text allowance (you can only receive SMS/text)
  • Recharge available via the IM3 app or by going to a convenience store if you want to have credit to do voice calls / SMS or purchasing extra data packs (starts from as low as $2)
  • Check your data by downloading the IM3 Official App or dial *123#
  • Please ignore the expiry date or the plan name on the packaging, always refer to our product page for the latest information

This is a LOCAL Indonesian SIM card, new Indonesian Government’s policy requires tourists to submit personal data (IMEI and Passport) to unlock your mobile phone’s IMEI to be used in Indonesia, your personal data will be submitted to the local Indonesian provider, TravelKon DOES NOT sell your data and will only use the data for activation purposes only. Please note Indonesian (Citizen) Passport Holder is not eligible to get the IMEI unlocked, you can purchase our roaming options below.

For Indonesian citizen, if your phone is already unlocked you can purchase this SIM and register using your KTP and KK kirim SMS “REG NIK#KK#” ke 4444. We are not responsible if the SIM does not work due to your phone’s IMEI being locked – no refunds will be provided in this case.

If you do not want to provide your personal data we suggest getting our roaming Indonesian physical SIM card or eSIM which can be delivered in Australia.

Activation / Order Procedure:

  1. Purchase local IM3 Indonesian SIM card from our website
  2. We will send order confirmation with a Google Form link to submit your details
  3. Details to be submitted at the latest 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival time:
    • A clear photo of Adult Passport Photo Page along with the SIM Card packaging showing the number (note: Indonesian Passport is NOT eligible)
    • A clear photo of the SIM card packaging by itself (please DO NOT throw away the SIM card packaging – no refunds will be provided due to failure to provide the photo of the SIM card packaging)
    • Screenshot of IMEI number from your mobile device (Dial *#06# and then screenshot the page – please show the full screen do not edit in anyway)
    • Flight arrival details
    • Note: 1 passport can only be used for 1 SIM card
  4. The SIM card will be delivered to your Australian address, you will need to wait for the SIM to arrive before submitting the details via Google Form.

We recommend you to submit your details between 2 to 5 day prior to your arrival, this will allow the local team to pre-activate the SIM and unlock your IMEI. Not submitting your details means the local team would not be able to activate the SIM and the SIM won’t work.


Troubleshooting Guide:

Please note that if the SIM card does not work (e.g. there is no signal or the data is not working) the IMEI registration may have failed, you MUST contact us or the local provider on WhatsApp +6281529261858 to troubleshoot. Please note no refunds will be provided if you do not contact us or the local provider.

This was fantastic. The coverage and speed was far superior to others roaming from Australian providers. Highly recommended around the Sanur area as speeds over 100Mbps were common.

      Unfortunately the operator informed that some batch expired early than it should. We have informed all affected customer and also provided resolution.

      I am not sure what else we can do to make it better but please understand the situation is out of our control.

  4. Pick up location at CGK airport is at Terminal 2, it’s far away from Terminal 2F where we landed. I sent a request to pick up my SIM locally in Perth but didn’t get any response. If it wasn’t because of the discount, I wouldn’t have bothered buying from
    Travelkon.

    • Hello, the product clearly states the pick up is at terminal 3 – we ask customer to please double check the product information. The physical SIM card was not available on your travel date it was only available starting 31 July onwards.

      The product your purchased is the airport pick up at terminal 3 and it was processed correctly. We hope you understand that it is not our responsibility that your flight arrive at terminal 2F
