What’s Included?

  • 1GB of Data / Day (after which speed will be reduced to 128kbps – with unlimited data)**
    • Please note data reset at 00:00 GMT+8 (Perth Time), e.g. if you activate at 8PM Perth time, Day 2 will start at 00:00 that night
  • 4G LTE speed
  • 5 / 7 / 15 days service from activation
  • For use in all of Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand & Vietnam
  • Fits all phones (SIM Size: Nano, Micro, and Standard)
  • Comes with a SIM tray opener
  • Hotspot/Tethering enabled
  • Expire 30 December 2024

Things to know

  • The SIM’s provider is CHT (taiwanese operator)
  • Simple plug & play activation
  • No ID registration needed
  • Compatible with GSM devices
  • Works in all unlocked mobile phone devices (the SIM will NOT work on Modem/Mifi/Pocket Wifi devices)
  • There is no way to check data usage, you will need to use your mobile phone settings to track how much data have been used.

Troubleshooting Guide

Please insert the SIM card only when you land at your destination otherwise the SIM may be activated in Australia.

The SIM card activates when you insert the SIM card into your phone, our SIM generally works with no issues, however if you encounter any issues with the SIM, please check the following:

  1. Insert the SIM into your phone, turn off any other SIM and any VPN (if applicable)
  2. Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
  3. Turn on mobile data and wait at least 5-10 minutes for activation – do NOT change any settings 
  4. APN should be “internet” (if it is not automatic)
  5. Network operator should be automatically selected but if it isn’t please select manually to the network operators listed below
  6. Turn phone off, take out the SIM, insert the SIM back and turn phone on -> repeat the steps above
  7. Please contact us if the above steps still does not work

  • Thailand (AIS)
  • Vietnam (Viettel / Vinaphone)

    I purchased this travel SIM card and got free delivery from Travelkon. In a nice package, they send the multiple size SIM card, the pin and a passport cover! What a service. The sim worked like a charm for our Singapore and Thailand trip.

    Second day the SIM card stopped working. I only used it to book bluebird the first day, had all the data left. I had to buy a new SIM card from there. Not again. It is so easy to buy SIM card from Bali as soon as you land on the airport.

      Sorry to hear your experience, however please note that we sold thousands of these SIMs without any issues. If the data stopped working the settings must not be correct.

    I clicked on the eSim tab when purchasing but it turns out that both Sims and eSims were shown. I didn’t realise at the time so booked a Sim in error. TravelKon did change that and send me an eSim instead, but there was no free wifi in Jakarta airport, so it couldn’t be downloaded. When it was finally downloaded it didn’t work in the West Papua region of Indonesia which wasn’t advertised. This was where most of the travel was based, so the eSim became useless after one day.
    Previous eSims from TravelKon in Japan and Europe have worked well, but this Indonesian eSim was a disappointing experience.

    After working for 1 day, I had no data at all. Even for that one day, the speed was terrible. I had to buy a local prepaid sim after one day. Terrible experience for Vietnam.

      It is more than likely the network operator is not correctly selected (yes even if it worked for the first day) the network operator might changed without your knowledge.

    The sim is from Chungwa which took over 40 minutes before the sim is able to connect to DTAC data network in Bangkok. This is a problem if you expect to be able to use your phone upon arrival at the airport, as normally the sim takes 5-10 minutes to registered to the local network.
