- Plan usually “start” when the eSIM connects to the supported network (i.e. you can add the eSIM into your phone in Australia without “starting” the plan)
- Note: you must not turn on data roaming and please turn off the eSIM line after installation, we will not be responsible if the plan started accidentally
- eSIM must connect to a supported network and be used within 30 days of purchase to avoid expiration
- Please ensure you check the network operator coverage in your intended travel areas, we are not responsible for lack of coverage and do not provide refunds in such cases.

Troubleshooting Guide
The eSIM will usually only activate when it connects to a supported network operator. For example, you can scan the eSIM in Australia without activating it. However, please ensure that you do not turn on data roaming and please turn off the eSIM line until you reach your destination.
Our eSIM generally works with no issues, however if you encounter any issues with the eSIM, please check the following:
- You must be connected to Wi-Fi when scanning the eSIM
- Turn off any other SIM and any VPN (if applicable), your phone also must also not be on airplane mode
- Turn data roaming on (Android: select all network)
- Ensure mobile data is sourced from our SIM and wait at least 10 minutes for activation – refrain from changing any mobile settings
- APN should be “cmhk” (if it is not cmhk please wait or restart the phone, do not change manually)
- Network operator should be automatically selected but if it isn’t please try selecting manually to a different operator (Softbank/KDDI)
- Restart your phone (off / on) or turn airplane mode on / off
- If you experience drop outs please turn on / off the eSIM line and you may also want to try selecting a different operator manually where applicable (see the list below)
- Please check your mobile network settings to make sure the eSIM was installed (occasionally it may looked like the eSIM did not install successfully however it may already be installed on your phone)
- Please do not delete the eSIM, if you accidentally deleted the SIM it may take up to 24 hours for us to reset the eSIM.
eSIM QR code along with the instruction will be sent via email instantly (please check your junk/spam email). Please note if you purchase a physical SIM in the same order, the eSIM will need to be sent manually (i.e. NOT instant), we recommend buying the eSIM separately.

Super easy to set up. Was able to purchase whilst already in Japan since the original sim (also from Travelkon) ran out. 1gb a day is enough for Google maps and regular use. Would recommend and use again for all my overseas trip! I’d get the 1gb a day instead of the capped data limit for next time.

My service has worked really well and has given me peace of mind and connectivity while in Japan. Took a bit of fiddling with my phone settings to set up the service, but otherwise, reception has been good.

Hello we tried contacting you but received no response. We have checked your daily usage is normal and there is no problem with this eSIM. You did went over 1GB at one time which may cause the speed to slow (as advertised).
